To assist in an ongoing way, in the work of Jesus Christ in our area, you can utilise a Bequest.
This is usually a larger amount of money given to the Parish. It is provided for investment at AS&DF by the Diocese, on the Parish’s behalf. This money is invested long term with only a percentage of the interest being available for use. This means that the principal amount is not touched, only a portion of the interest. A portion of the interest is reinvested with the principal to cover inflation.
A bequest is sometimes provided for in a will, though not always. Rev’d Janet can help you organise a bequest. What a great way to continue to assist the work of Christ in an ongoing way, in the Parish.
A bequest can also be established in memory of a relative or friend as a memoriam. |
